The youngster, 22, was nervous but for one who usually wears her fame so uncomfortably, seemed to come alive when given a personal appearance with an altruistic purpose.

The Twilight actress opted for a neon short suit that looked better suited to the gym or perhaps making a run for it if the audience had decided to boo during the Cali girl's speech.
Kristen, who is LA born and bred, needn't have worried as Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden was nothing if not brimming with positivity.
And Kristen, scared though she undoubtedly was, delivered a sweet, succinct and poignant speech.
Her purpose was to try and put the scale of those affected by Superstorm Sandy into some kind of perspective.

Then Stewart said that there were 37 billion affected across New Jersey in total but pointed out that it's hard to put human faces to such numbers.
She was then cheered when she said: 'But then Jersey Strong is not measured in numbers.'
A smile of relief crept across the brunette's face as the warmth rippled across the famous venue and she handed over to a video of Jersey boy, Jon Bon Jovi, visiting the most devastated areas.
But Kristen must know her own rehabilitation, however much it pales in comparison to the devastation of Sandy, is equally underway.
